Welcome to The Shire!

We are a small family farm in Bourbon County, Kansas that want to produce high quality farm fresh products for our local community. We believe that the quality of food we put in our body is important.

The Shire is in the very beginning stages of becoming our dream farm. At the moment, we are selling chicken eggs and occasionally chicks. We have started the journey of developing our dairy herd and will be selling raw milk by spring of 2024.

Our chickens are fed organic, non GMO, no soy feed and free range all day on our farm. Once you crack one of our eggs open you will never go back to store bought eggs again! Farm-fresh will always be best!

We are currently selling our eggs for $5 per dozen (wholesale pricing is available). Feel free to swing by and pick up!
